1)  Check for this symbol on your card and at the checkout. For mobile phone payments, check that your phone is Visa payWave-capable, that you've downloaded a mobile payment application and you've activated the application.

2)  Wave your card or mobile device over the secure reader. For mobile payments, launch the application on your mobile device and simply wave your device over the reader like your card.

3)  Go. Just like a regular transaction, the terminal will indicate when your transaction has been processed. If you'd like a receipt, simply request one from the merchant or some banking mobile app's will allow for electronic receipts (SMS or email).
