Visa Infinite cardholders now have around-the-clock access to information and bookings for accommodations at a hand-picked selection of luxury properties around the world - from celebrated hotels and resorts to new boutique gems. The offering of participating properties has been gathered by invitation and will continue to expand to offer cardholders even more of a selection. Benefits can be accessed through www.visainfinite.ca or the Visa Infinite Concierge service.
The Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection offers Canadian-issued Visa Infinite cardholders access to a host of premium perks designed to make cardholders' hotel stays more comfortable and enjoyable. Benefits vary by hotel and may include VIP guest status, access to the best available rate, an automatic room upgrade upon arrival, complimentary valet parking or in-room internet access, a food and beverage voucher to enjoy at one of the hotel restaurants or through room service, complimentary continental breakfast and late checkout privileges.1
The new program was tailored to appeal to the most-desired travel benefits. The range of perks offered by the Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection ranked among the top ten important travel benefits in a 2009 Visa survey.2 Complimentary room upgrades (53 per cent) and free internet access (51 per cent) were identified as the most important travel benefits among respondents.
"Travel benefits consistently rank at the top of our Visa Infinite cardholders' lists of preferred perks," said Jennifer Arthurton, Head of Consumer Credit Products, Visa Canada. "The Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection enhances Visa Infinite's ability to provide its members with access to superior value through exclusive travel perks at some of the world's finest properties. The program was specially designed to offer its members with an unparalleled experience that will exceed their expectations."
